What
ART COMMUNITY: Art Club is a community of FRMS students and staff who love art! Our purpose is to inspire, share, and learn from one another. Art club will take place virtually on Schoology and you can participate whenever you have time! You can decide how often you participate. Posting artwork is not a requirement. As of this time, we don't have any meetings scheduled.
MONTHLY SHOW AND TELL: Each month a folder will be posted titled: Show and Tell. This is a place where you can share in-progress art that you are currently working on or art that you recently completed.
WEEKLY PROMPTS: Prompts that inspire and challenge your creativity will be posted each week along with a place to post your artwork. The purpose of these prompts is to be a source of inspiration, motivate you to try new styles of art, guide you to work within a specific theme or material, push you to work out of your comfort zone, and support you on your creative journey.
CONNECTING WITH OTHERS: Conversation surrounding our artwork is important. Students are encouraged to engage in conversation surrounding art. All comments are required to be kind and supportive and/or you could ask the artist a question that you're wondering. Art Club is a community where everyone is welcome and celebrated and all conversations must support that value.
YOUR IDEAS: Art Club members are welcome to share their ideas about activities, prompts, projects, etc. that they would like to see happening in Art Club.
