Math League

General Information

Who: All interested 6th-8th graders with advanced math skills are welcome to join.

What: Math League meets Mondays before school at 7:15 am in room 126. Our practices focus on solving sets of math problems, to prepare for meets and competitions! Meets are held once a month October through January, after school on a Monday. This then continues on to the MathCOUNTS competition, which takes place during school in February, and if we advance will continue through March for the state meet. This is a great activity for students who are enthusiastic about math and want to spend time with other enthusiastic learners!

When: Meet on Mondays at 7:15 in room 126

Sign-up in September. There are also five competition dates. Transportation is provided to the competitions but parents will need to pick up their child at FRMS upon returning from the competition.
