Math Masters

General Information

Who: All interested 6th graders who love math are welcome to join.

What: The Math Masters team practices solving math problems as it prepares for a regional Math Masters Challenge Event. Math Masters challenges students, encouraging them to utilize critical thinking skills that enhance their mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities. The program also focuses upon recognizing and rewarding mathematical academic achievement.

When: Sign-up in October. Meet on Mondays during midday from the end of October through early March. There is one regional competition in early March.

Where: FRMS for practices; area school for regional competition

Cost: Free
