Practice: 3:20-4:50p.m. Monday thru Friday

Signup on EduTrak: $110

Sports Physical Required: A Sports Physical must be on file before you can register on EduTrak. Completed physicals which have been signed by a physician can be dropped off at the FRMS office or faxed to 952-431-8770.

To secure a guaranteed spot on the team, students must be registered before the first day of practice with a sports physical on file and payment made through EduTrak. Students who register after the first day of practice will be wait-listed and cannot be guaranteed a spot on the team.

General Info: We are very excited to work with your son on the Falcon Ridge Basketball Team! The first week of practice will be used as a “tryout”, or evaluation period to determine the placement of the boys on the A team, B team, or C team depending on the number of participants.

Practices end at 4:50 PM with the activity buses leaving FRMS at 5:00 PM from the downstairs parking lot/door 7. Students not riding the activity bus must be picked up by 5 PM in the downstairs parking lot/door 7.

Please note, away competitions last past 5 PM . In these instances, families will need to pick up their student(s) immediately following the contest.

Dear Parents,

FRMS Boys Basketball begins on Monday, January 3! If your student-athlete is a 7th or 8th grader and enjoys playing basketball, we would love to have him on the team!

We will be playing games against other middle schools this winter!

The goals for the season will be as follows:
1. To learn fundamental skills

2. To improve daily through practice

3. To develop a high level of self-discipline

4. To be a good citizen, good role-model and good sport

5. To have fun while learning and improving

I invite you to attend as many games as you can. Your support and encouragement are so important!

The expectations we have for the team are as follows:

All players are expected to attend practices and games.
We understand conflicts arise that may cause your student-athlete to miss a practice or a game. In fact, we usually have many players that are involved in multiple activities such as Traveling Athletics, or other previous commitments that might conflict with several practices or games. Please send a note or email letting us know.
We practice every day beginning at 3:20 until 4:45, please have rides set up. There will be activity buses available to bring student-athletes home. Those buses leave at 5:00.
Depending on the number of student-athletes we will have between two – four teams (A, B, and C Teams). Tip-off for the B-Team is typically 3:45 PM, and games usually conclude by 4:45 PM. Tip-off for the A-Team is typically 4:45 PM, and games finish by 6:00 PM.
Parents need to provide transportation home for games that end after 5pm. And/or away games students can take a return bus to FRMS, however parents need to pick up their child from FRMS. Please arrive in a timely manner.
