STUDENT-PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES

Wednesday, November 3
4-7pm

Thursday, November 4
8:30-7:15pm

Welcome to our conference sign up system.  Our conference format for November 2021 is arena style conferences.  In this format, you will sign up for a 1 hour time slot during which you can visit with some of your child’s teachers for a 3-5 minute check in.  You will not have reserved times to meet with individual teachers, but can choose which teachers are your priority to check in with during the one hour time slot you select.

These arena style conferences are designed to be a brief 3-5 minute check-in regarding your child’s academic or social progress with their content area teachers.  It is likely you will not be able to see all 8 of your child’s teachers during this time.  You should check Schoology for the most current grade reports to help you prioritize which teachers you would like to visit. If you would like to discuss something more in depth, or need to check in with your child’s advisor for a more global concern or conversation, please contact your child’s advisor directly to schedule a phone conversation at another time.

We are limiting the number of families during each hour to 30 per grade level in order to reduce the probability of long lines and ensure that we are distancing as much as possible to maintain our public health protocols. Masks are required for conferences.  If you are not able to conference in person, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teachers by phone or email to check in if you’d like.

Throughout the school year, teachers may contact parents to discuss student progress in any class. The most effective way for discussing student progress is through the establishment of good communication between parents and teachers. Scheduled conferences will also be held during 2nd trimester. We have a long tradition of students being involved and leading conversations with their families and their teachers - we will continue this practice this year as well.
