Our talented FRMS teachers work diligently to provide a positive, engaging, collaborative, challenging and welcoming academic environment for every child.

Each grade's course curriculum incrementally builds upon the rigor of the previous year, providing a stimulating, hands-on learning atmosphere. All students also have unique, individual access to the latest technology learning tools through the District 196 1:1 technology initiative. Each 6th, 7th and 8th grader receives an iPad to complete and turn in assignments, collaborate with their peers and their teachers. Each student is assigned to an Advisory Faculty member which is the first contact for parents with any general questions or concerns.

Falcon Academy/Homework Help

1:1 technology

District 196's 1:1 technology initiative has changed the learning landscape. Every Falcon Ridge student receives an iPad to use for each class. The 1:1 technology initiative provides access to interactive classroom learning tools, including apps such as Schoology, which is the online course management system for District 196.

Students use the Schoology app to not only turn in their assignments, but to collaborate with other students while receiving helpful, specific class information, schedules and reminders from each of their teachers. This iPad app and others further advance student learning by providing enhanced collaboration and engagement, saving students time while deepening their understanding and connections to course material.
